The Chrysler Herbarium of Rutgers University houses about 6,900 bryophyte specimens, as well as over 2,600 lichen specimens. Due to generous funding from the National Science Foundation, these specimens are databased and digitized and the information is publicly available online.

Our bryophyte (mosses, hornworts, and liverworts) data and specimens are available through the Consortium of North American Bryophyte Herbaria (CNABH).

Our lichen data available through the Consortium of North American Lichen Herbaria (CNALH).
